The Bird Kingdom is a wonderful zoo located at 5651 River Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 7M7. It’s a small zoo that focuses on birds and has excellent bird shows. You will see many different species at this zoo. The Bird Kingdom is also easy to get to from Toronto, so you can visit without feeling like you’re investing too much time into the trip. We loved visiting this zoo and can see ourselves returning in the future. If you plan on visiting The Bird Kingdom in the future, here are some tips for making your day even better:
Visit The Bird Show
The Bird Show happens every day at various times throughout the day, and is a great way to see some of the more common species at the zoo. You can also choose to see birds from all over the world if you are a fan of that. You can even see some parrots in the show if you’re lucky! There are some great features that make the bird show so great. The first is the large screen showing birds and their stunning colours and patterns. You can also see the birds in 3-D if you choose. The second is the audio, which you can either listen to or turn off entirely. The sound will provide you with some great facts about the birds you are seeing, which is so useful when you are trying to learn more about these fascinating animals.
Visit The Aviary and Bird Discovery Centre
The aviary is a great place to visit when you first arrive at the zoo. It’s a relatively small aviary, but it has some great birds to visit and view. There are also great views of the zoo from the aviary. The Bird Discovery Centre is another great place to visit. It’s a small area with educational displays about the birds at the zoo. If you visit the zoo, be sure to feed the animals! You’re missing out if you don’t, because they’re super appreciative of your generosity. There are several places throughout the zoo to feed the animals. You can often find a small table, bench, or fountain with a food bowl next to it. You can also buy a small bag of food from the gift shop and take it with you. You can also feed the animals from the car as you’re leaving the park. The Bird Kingdom is a great zoo that has birds of all kinds. We loved the Bird Show, the aviary and bird discovery centre, and visiting the reptile area. We also loved visiting the zoo to feed the animals and see them up close. This zoo is a great day trip from Toronto, and is easy to get to. We recommend visiting this zoo if you enjoy birds!
